oh coco

Tuesday nights is ' Hilot Day ' in our home. Gina, our masseuse has been with us for years. She has taken care of my frozen shoulder, back aches, blood circulation etc... We only use coconut oil for our ' hilots ' ,

I read somewhere that Philippine coconut oil has the highest lauric acid content among other coconut oils. This means that the antiviral and antibacterial benefits are just amazing! I find the coconut oil that I use is very light and it is easily absorbed by my skin without leaving an oily residue.

After my one hour and half hilot session, I continue using the coconut oil on my face , above my eyes, under my eyes, over my laugh lines and on my jaw area. What an inexpensive way to
nurture my skin!

oh wow---my lola and mom always use coconut oil too (which they extracted/made themselves). It's especially effective when I have cough/colds and they apply/massage it on my back. ^^ of course added to the oil are my lola's and mom's "haplos ng pagmamahal" ^^ (lols, I think that's from a commercial!^^)

I also drink it for energy and weight loss. A famous dermatologist also recommended it for the face! Some of the testimonials I heard and read listed some other benefits:
-reduce stretch marks
-hot oil for hair to make it grow faster, thicker and shinier,
-moisturizes entire body after bath without being sticky.
-thickens eyelashes and eyebrows
